The Lupus Society of Alberta is hosting an Education Day in Calgary in November 2018! Keynote speaker Dr. Christine Peschken will speak about the CANIOS research and her research with First Nations communities. Dr. Deb Levy will present on her paediatric lupus clinic and the difference in disease presentation in Asian patients. Dr. Cheryl Barnabe will speak about the rheumatology clinics she provides to First Nations in Alberta. Finally, Dr. Ann Clarke will chair a panel discussion and answer questions regarding how lupus patients can access treatment in Alberta.
